For decades, NAIOP has served as a strong voice for key asset classes of commercial real estate in New Jersey and beyond. But our industry has grown far beyond the boundaries reflected in that name. Today, our members shape industrial, office, retail, mixed-use, life sciences, data centers, and more. Our new name - the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (CREDA)—better reflects who we are and the full scope of what we do.

This is an evolution, not a reinvention. Our mission remains unchanged: strong advocacy, meaningful education, and valuable connections. What’s new is how we present ourselves—to policymakers, to emerging professionals, and to the communities we help build. With a clearer identity, we are better positioned to serve our members and advance their interests.

This transition is part of a national movement across 55+ chapters, and CREDA NJ is proud to be at the forefront. Here in New Jersey, we are actively engaging with state leadership and ensuring our industry has a seat at the table.

Just as important, we are investing in the future—aggressively advancing our Strategic Plan and supporting the next generation through initiatives like our Developing Leaders program.
